Out and about

Kate and I went to the Finders Keepers markets the other Friday

It's a great idea and they're on twice a year in each of the east coast capital cities. The winter one was about two-thirds smaller than the summer one, which was a little disappointing – but it was jam-packed. I bought a lovely navy skirt and Kate bought a funky linen dress.

At the same venue they have the Eveleigh farmers' markets every weekend and then on the first Sunday of the month they extend into Sunday for the Artisans' markets. Kate, Lou and I went to that last time. It's smaller than Finders Keepers, but I enjoyed it much more. Not quite so crowded and funnily enough, a better range of products. That's where we bought your birthday present Sandra. I could have spent a lot of money on quirky brooches, but thankfully didn't have a lot of cash on me!
