Phoebe's quilt almost done
Mum just text me a pic of Phoebe's quilt – freshly washed and ready for backing.
Not often you get to see two of the same quilts with different colourways. They both look great. Check out its sister quilt in the 10 May post.
I think Sandra did Makayla and Zali's in the same pattern too? I'm going to dig round on Facebook and see if I can find the pics.
I spent part of last weekend in a staple-gunning frenzy attaching my wall quilt patchwork to the frame I'd bought for it. It was very hard work since the electric staple gun I hired from Kennards was a dud, so I bought a manual one from Bunnings.
I fully expected to come back from Melbourne this week and find all the patchwork seams burst from being stretched across the frame - but they seem to be holding so far.
Can't wait to get it on the wall now. I'll post pics as soon as it's up.
