Big news and a little project

Finally! The big news is that I found out I've been accepted into the textile course for next year. I'm very happy about this. Now I can put some plans in motion, sort a new place to live, get some memberships happening, and work out my exit from this job – excellent stuff.

The little project I've been working on is a set of knitted Christmas stockings. How cute are they? You can find the pattern here. I still insanely think that I'm going to get another set done before Christmas, as well as a pair of socks...
In an effort to make that happen, I've finally become one of the those crazy knitting commuters. Yep, needles at it on the platform waiting for the train and then in the carriage for my 20 minute commute. It's amazing how well a sock can progress with just this little bit of knitting each day.

As this will be my final post before Christmas, I wish everyone out there a lovely day whatever you're doing and wherever you are in the world and I hope all your handmade presents get finished in time!

Cheers,
Tara
