Feeling like I've lost something!

The quilt is finally at the quilters. Once it was there, I kind of felt like I'd lost my wallet, or my keys, or had misplaced something major. Must have been 'cause the whole house had been filled with the back drying, or the wadding bundled up, or the quilt front laid out – and then it was all gone!

In the meantime, I'm keeping busy with other things ...

Just bought a fabulous pair of purple velvet pants to go with the jacket at bottom left
(for when I actually finish knitting it!)

Oh, and I chose a non-fussy, loopy, daisy pattern for the quilting in cream thread. Hopefully it'll look OK!

  1. Tara,
The quilt has just moved on to the next faze and once it is quilted it will be back, albeit for a short time to be bound.Has it been decided on what is going on the label on the back of the quilt.
Bye the way, I just loove the jacket you are knitting.
    Love Sandra.

  2. Glad to see that you're back into your craft again. I'm about half way through hand quilting the blocks on Phoebe's quilt. It seems to be going on forever. We don't want to repeat what we said on the other quilts so hey Jen, Stace and Kate what was written on your quilts so we can come up with an original saying
    Love Meri
