… and night

Wow! While Tara is off travelling in the wilds of Victoria I have been given the secret password and carte blanche to create some blog spots. So here goes.

First of all let me set the record straight. There is no way I was cutting holes in the evening coat as Tara mentioned last time. I managed to remove all the age spots with various magic potions but there were a few tiny moth holes in it so that picture is me going cross-eyed trying to invisibly mend them.

Anyhow I picked up the quilt from Kim Jenkins last Tuesday and started sewing. It's now been made into a doona cover with piped edges and the inscription on the bottom corner at the back.

It's a creation of which we can all be proud.
