WALKING FOOT QUILTING
One-day class (Two-day option available*)
Are you one of those quilters who only makes tops? Is it because you don’t own a long-arm, or does learning free-motion quilting seem overwhelming?
Maybe walking foot quilting is for you!

Some preparation is required before class.
Skill level: Intermediate patchworker
*On the second day participants bring their own basted quilt tops. We discuss design and thread approaches and students quilt their tops under guidance.
AHEAD OF THE CURVE

Curves don’t have to be scary! In this class we’ll explore the versatility of the drunkard’s path block to create modern flower designs.
You’ll learn how to sew accurate curves with templates, while experimenting with colour, scale, and layout.
Each student will receive a copy of the Bloomin’ Lot quilt pattern, which we’ll use as a jumping-off point for your own floral compositions.
Whether you’re new to curves or looking to expand your skills, this is a fun and flexible class to grow your confidence.
